The pupils at Balgreen play an important role in the decisions and activities that take place at school. We have various pupil groups that the children can contribute to. Pupils who are interested in a certain aspect of school life are voted onto a committee and work alongside staff to help to take forward various initiatives. Participation in these focus groups encourages pupils to work co-operatively, teaches responsibility, leadership and presentation as well as enhancing listening and reflection. Pupils, as principal stakeholders, are encouraged to participate in all aspects of school life.
At present we are fortunate to have four hard working focus groups ensuring the pupil voice is heard at Balgreen.
